The desire for discretion with incontinence products has led us to the development of pads that are 20% thinner so they can be worn comfortably with a greater variety of clothing. This has also reduced the carbon footprint of TENA pads by 31%.

The increasing affordability of digital technology is enabling new possibilities for innovation within continence care. Our brand TENA is revolutionizing elderly care with digital technology through the new innovative solution TENA SmartCare™. Reusable sensors can be attached on any TENA incontinence product to provide real time information on moisture. This helps caregivers when to change products and enables insights on care recommendations and optimal use of products. This solution is co-created with customers and technology and builds on years of experience with TENA Identifi™.

Reducing unnecessary product changes

TENA Identifi™ facilitates more individualized continence care toward each resident, whilst improving the efficiency of carers. Carers also experience higher workplace satisfaction as they are able to spend more time attending to the social needs of residents. For TENA Identifi™ the resulting reduction in unnecessary product changes that comes out of individualized care is also beneficial for the environment as fewer products are used per resident.
