Purex has been a sponsor of the Tread Lightly Caravan for many years, to help educate Kiwi’s about the importance of sustainability.

This programme, one of four provided by the Tread Lightly Charitable Trust, is a mobile classroom that travels to schools based in Auckland. The aim is to inspire school students aged 5 to 12 years and their families (whanau) to make simple changes to their everyday lives that will help protect and restore the natural environment.

Through the use of fun interactive exhibits and activities, the Tread Lightly Caravan experience teaches students that what they buy and eat, and how they travel and use energy can have an impact on the environment.
